Our Programmes

Funding for the current work programme was made available to the West Forum from August 2008. As part of its brief, the West Forum addresses three strategic areas in widening participation in the West of Scotland:

• Work with the school sector in schools and school communities of low further and higher education participation to raise aspirations and competencies to progress to further and higher education in colleges and higher education institutions;
• Work to support college to university articulation, retention and completion; and
• Work with adults and communities where participation in further and higher education in colleges and higher education institutions is low.
